Description
(Parthenium integ.): (5 pt) Unique. 3’ in flower. Stout leafy flower stems rise from 6-12” basal leaves. Showy flat-top domes of pearl-white flowers, June-Aug. Rich-gray seedheads have winter interest. Likes moist rich soil, takes dry; easy, tough. (Plant after frost/before active growth, late spring.) Wild/cottage gardens, meadows, cut flowers. Native PA south. Bees, Butterflies, Birds.
