Description
(Itea virginica): 3-4’ x 6’. Many fragrant 6” spires of white June flowers. 4” leaves, turn brilliant garnet-red in fall, persisting very late. Adaptable, average to wet, prefers moist soil. Forms colonies. Use for borders, groundcover, massing, bank stabilization. Native New Jersey south. Bees, Butterflies, Birds. Stream Buffers. Erosion Control.
