Landscape Value: Great for shade gardens and naturalized areas. Good as an accent plant or for massing to form a groundcover in moist to dry shady areas.
Densely clumped, semi-evergreen perennial with bluish, strap-like leaves up to one inch wide. Leaves are puckered along prominent longitudinal veins. Slender stalks with small greenish-white flower spikes rise above the foliage. Spreads slowly to form a groundcover in average to moist soil. Cut back in late winter to make room for spring growth. Tolerates some drought and dry soil once established.
