Hardy and adaptable!  Multi-stemmed shrub with long-blooming, elongated clusters of small white to pinkish flowers that bloom in mid-summer followed by dry, pod-shaped fruits.  Foliage turns golden-yellow in the fall.  Needs consistent moisture.  Susceptible to powdery mildew and leaf spot.  Tolerates wet soil.  Attracts songbirds, butterflies and native bees.
