The District has the expertise to conduct vernal pool inventories.  Through careful examination and interpretation of aerial photographs, we can provide you with a map of potential vernal pools, each of which we can field verify or "ground-truth", if you desire.  Whether you are interested in a preliminary map, based merely on aerial interpretation, to give you an idea of where in the landscape vernal pools might be located or whether you would like to follow through to the final steps of field verification, including the identification of amphibians and other species that are using the pools, call us!
