VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the key to many local conservation projects.  NCD accomplishments over the years have often been possible due to many dedicated volunteers starting with our Board of Directors.  Our energetic staff works with many local volunteers who serve on local land use commissions, land trusts, river or watershed groups to protect and conserve our unique and precious natural resources.

Our Earth Day Plant Sale in late April is possible due to the amazing contributions of over one hundred volunteers.  There is something special about the camaraderie among gardeners.  Plan on joining the fun!

RSVP, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in Torrington has provided us invaluable assistance for many years.  We are extremely grateful for their cheerful and dedicated service.  Their Mail Team is a vital part of the operations of many local non-profits.  To join this lively group, call RSVP at 860 482 9102.
