THIS IS YOUR LAND - With breathtaking photographs of wilderness areas and national parks - and the animals that live there - this show brings to life the beauty and variety of America's rich natural heritage.  Travel to these scenic parks and wilderness areas and learn how people's misuse of this land threatens the delicate ecosystem.  This program depicts how, through balanced management, we can use and enjoy these public lands and conserve our finite resources, too.  15 minutes.

WE CARE ABOUT EAGLES - The bald eagle has been a proud symbol of the American spirit through the ages.  You'll be introduced to the bald eagle, the golden eagle, the African bateleur eagle, the South American harpy, and the Philippine eagle.  Discover how conservationists are trying to ensure that our most majestic birds will continue to soar wild and free.  15 minutes.

WATER:  WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT - We tend to take water for granted, never doubting that fresh water will always arrive when we turn on the tap.  This program shows how freshwater habitats support wildlife, what threatens our water supplies, and how we can conserve this vital resource.  15 minutes.

SOIL: WE CAN'T GROW WITHOUT IT - In this program you'll get the real "dirt" on soil.  You'll find out how soil is formed and explore the different types of soil found in deserts, prairies, and other habitats.  You'll see how people's misuse of the land is causing devastating soil erosion and the steps we can take to preserve this resource.  15 minutes.

LET'S CLEAR THE AIR - In many parts of the world the air is so polluted that it is ruining buildings, harming plants, and endangering human health.  This program explains what causes pollution and describes what is being done to control it.  It also explains acid rain - what it is, what it does, and why some parts of the country are more affected than others.  15 minutes.

FORESTS ARE MORE THAN TREES - Forests cover almost one-third of the continental U.S., and more than 700 different kinds of trees are scattered throughout them.  They harbor a marvelous diversity of animals too, making them exciting teaching tools for all ages.  The program covers ecology; uses; recreation; and threats to forest welfare, such as deforestation and acid rain.  20 minutes.

EARTH DAY EVERY DAY -YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! - The program shows how you can celebrate Earth Day by making wise environmental choices each day.  Shows many of the animals, plants, and habitats that have been affected by people's actions.  You'll also see how people are helping to solve environmental problems.  Your students will be learning about biology, social studies, geography, and more when you engage them in this important topic for the environment.  15 minutes.
