Video, Slide, Cassette and Book Library for Free Loan


The Norwich office of the Eastern Conservation District has educational programs available to loan for one week intervals.  A deposit of $10.00 per program is required.  It will be refunded when the program is returned.  Please call (860) 887-4163, ext.3011 to reserve titles.  Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.  Our southern office, where our library is located is in the USDA Service Center, Yantic River Plaza, 238 West Town Street (across from the main entrance to the Norwich Industrial Park, behind Sound 1.   1. National Wildlife Federation Series- slide and cassette program, complete script and educator's guide (K-8)

  2. Race to Save the Planet Series- video, VHS format, one hour each (9th grade - adult)

  3. Earthbeat- video, VHS format, half-hour each, teacher's guide, suggested activities (7th - 12th)

  4. Lines on the Land- (Video and teacher's guide) A hands-on soil and water conservation learning package for 6th through 8th grades.  Includes video and 16 learning activities.
