Did you read our Winter Newsletter? As promised you can find more information on native plants of Connecticut here.

When winter is over, in order to support our education and conservation programs, each year we hold a plant sale. You can order trees and plants right from us to beautify your landscape while supporting local conservation. An order form and plant descriptions are above.  The trees or shrubs you plant work to clean the air, cut energy costs, provide homes for wildlife, improve water quality, and make our community more beautiful. The tree seedlings, shrubs and perennials listed on this order form are available for April planting. Availability of stock can not be guaranteed and often sells out early; orders are honored as they are received and date stamped-- we may or may not have extra stock on the day of pick-up. If you don't have a need for trees, shrubs or perennials right now, please consider giving a tax-deductible donation to the Conservation District.  For more information and special orders call us at 860/887-4163, ext. 3011.

For images of plants, go to www.google.com, click on the Image tab above the search box, then type plant name.

Gift Certificates also available!  Please call.

Celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day or Mother's Day with a green and growing gift.

The trees you plant will provide homes for wildlife, clean the air and curb the greenhouse effect, cut energy costs, improve water quality, reduce soil erosion and flooding and beautify your community.
